Inspiration
Combining these with my interest in traditional handicraft I have used white work embroidery, crochet and other hand details within these three styles, a pump, a t-bar and a button boot.
These styles have been the most called upon by the world’s fashion press including FT ‘How to Spend It’ , Carine Roitfeld’s CRFashion Book, Numero and Mix Mag among others.

A Thing of Beauty
A truly bespoke collaboration. Not only was the shoe style and closure design specifically for this commission, but the wording expressed in the calligraphy was chosen specifically by the client for the purpose.
The two poems , both by Keats, talk to the highs and lows of the human experience. ‘A Thing of Beauty’ of which Keats said “a beautiful thing can bring extreme happiness and delight” and ‘Ode to Melancholy’ an exploration of sadness.
