CASE STUDY

A Treasured Client

A long-standing client relationship allows bespoke work to deepen. Over more than fifteen years, Caroline has created a private collection for a client whose life moves between London, the Cotswolds and New York.

Each piece draws on a different reference, from wildflowers glimpsed on a journey to Austrian heritage, birds, brocade, lobster embroidery and 22ct gold leaf. Together they form a personal archive of craft, memory and imagination.

Wildflowers

Inspiration

One such commission was the pink suede ‘Field Flowers’ boots. These were inspired by a stunning sight we both experienced on a drive from London to the North Cotswolds a few years ago: a vast field of summer wildflowers. This theme was enriched by images of flower paintings from the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition that year, which my client shared with me. There follows a small selection of my shoes from this clients collection.
