CASE STUDY

Button Shoes

A style that has been at the heart of my collection, but could easily be realised as an Oxford or a Balmoral. It is the block heel that provides the canvas to tell the story.

Inspiration

The commissions showcased here explore a range of themes, including hallucinatory flowers, a gothic mansion, folklore of the sea and a tropical bird.
The techniques employed include wool needlepoint, stump work and free hand silk on silk embroidery.
