Wedding shoes are among the most personal commissions I make. They need to belong to the dress, the setting and the woman wearing them, while still feeling entirely themselves. Proportion, colour, material and detail are considered together so the shoes become part of the whole rather than an afterthought.
A commission may begin with a piece of fabric, an heirloom, a flower, a family reference or simply a feeling the client wants to capture. From there, the design develops slowly and precisely, creating shoes that are made for the day itself but intended to hold meaning long after it has passed.
